Aisha is a DEI consultant, literary curator, education designer, and the founder of I Dream Library.

Their personal practice as a DEI consultant supports publishers, teachers, schools, districts, government, community projects, public and nonprofit organizations.

Their lived experience and career as an entrepreneur, writer, activist and parent inform their work.

Kidlit Curator

Rakim is Aisha’s son & creative collaborator at I Dream Library. He is a booklist curator and consultant going into grade 7! We are happy to share his creative direction and impact with school communities around the world.

Rakim is from Vancouver, Canada. His BIPoC heritage and identity inform his work.

Educators / Community

We consult and collaborate with QTBIPoC students, educators, and community members to prepare resources that meet the needs of curriculum and QTBIPoC representation.
